DESCRIPTION

The Beauharnois Hydroelectric Power Station is a run-of-the-river hydroelectric power station along the St. Lawrence River, in Quebec, Canada. The station was built in three phases and comprises 38 turbines, capable of generating up to 1903 MW of electrical power.

Several rehabilitation projects, to extend the service life of Beauharnois, Quebec’s fifth-largest power station, were scheduled to run until 2013. The projects included work on the generating units and the building. The rehabilitation project included the refection of all mechanical installations related to water treatment, filter systems, and general plant services.

SERVICES OFFERED

  •  Managed construction with a team of ten (10) technicians and engineers and a workforce of sixty (60) employees
  • Planned and supervised the project progress
  • Provided technical assistance at the site as well as provided coordination with engineers and vendors
  • Managed and supervised the POV.
